120 Years of Elegance
The Oklahoma Territory Building at the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis was a significant structure that showcased the rich cultural heritage and development of the Oklahoma Territory. Designed to highlight the region's progress and potential, the building drew visitors from across the nation. After the fair, the building's historic and symbolic significance led to its preservation and repurposing. El Reno Elks Lodge 743 purchased the building and had it transported via Rock Island Railroad to its current site in El Reno, Oklahoma. Serving as a central location for community gatherings and social activities, this transition from a showcase of territorial pride to a community landmark reflects the enduring spirit of cooperation and civic pride that characterizes both the fair’s legacy and the lodge’s ongoing service to the El Reno community.

Continuing a Legacy
El Reno Elks Lodge 743 has a rich history of hosting a variety of community and private events. Over the years, the lodge has been a popular venue for USO dances, providing entertainment and camaraderie for military personnel and the local community.
